Use of boiling water:  

Dents on the bumper can be difficult to remove because of the plastic rigidity. Then heating your dented area is a good approach to removing dents.

  • Pour boiled water over the dented surface.  
  • Apply some pressure on the back side of the dent to pop it out.  
  • If your bumper cools down and your dent has not been removed yet, then repeat this process again.  

Use of Dry Ice:

Use of wooden dowels and hot glue:  

This method is best to remove the large dents from the car’s surface. For this method, you need three basic items.  

  • Screws  
  • Hot glue  
  • Multiple wooden dowels

  • Firstly, place the two screws into both sides of the wooden dowel.  
  • Put the hot glue on the end side of the dowel.  
  • Place the dowel’s down side over the dented area.  
  • Repeat this process until the affected area is completely covered with these dowels.  
  • Wait for a minute to allow the glue to cool down.  
  • Pull out all these dowels until the dent pops out from the surface.  

Use of Vacuum Cleaner:  

A vacuum cleaner is not only used to clean the car upholstery but can also be used to remove small dents. 

  • Make a small hole under the pot.  
  • The size of the hole should be smaller than the vacuum cleaner nozzle.  
  • Place this pot, having a hole, over the dented area.  
  • Put the vacuum cleaner over the hole and switch it on.  
  • Continue to perform this process until the dent removes from the car’s surface.   

Use of a hair dryer and air compressor:  

  • Heat up the dented area with the hair dryer at its high temperature. It causes the plastic to expand in a dented area.  
  • Spray the compressed air instantly over the heated area. It causes the plastic to contract in that same dented area. 
  • Rapid change in heat level causing the dent to pop out from the car’s surface.  

Use a metal rod and wooden/rubber knockdown:  

Sometimes when your car gets dented. The dented surface is not smooth. Some areas are indented, and some are raised upward. In this situation, you need to exert the effort on both sides of the dent.  You need a wooden /rubber knockdown and a long metal rod to remove the such dents.  

  • Place the knockdown on the top of the dented surface.  
  • Put the metal rod on the lower side of the dent.  
  • Apply the force from both sides to pop out the dent from the car’s surface.
